Dear readers,

I'm going to Thailand alone soon and I like to drink a beer with Dutch or Flemish people, such as expats and tourists.

Now I know where I can meet Dutch people in Pattaya, but what about Bangkok? Are bars or other entertainment venues in the capital frequented by many Dutch/Flemish people? I stay in the Nana area

I did read something about the Green Parrot but that seems more for business people and it is not next door.

Regards,

Harold

Indeed very nice big bar with lots of pool tables, but not much people/movement lately. Then the Beergarden in Soi 7 is more fun, unless you don't like ladies 😉

The Dutch eatery at the end of soi cowboy (is only 1 real street so you will find it automatically 😉 ).

Hot Old Dutch in one of the nicest streets of Bangkok ;-). It is right on the corner of soi Cowboy and soi 23. Just as nice is the bar on the other corner of the street: the Corner Pub. This is on the corner of soi Cowboy and Asok Montri Road. This bar has no closing time. Ideal if you want to watch Champions League football. 21pm in Belgium/Netherlands is 3am-4am in Bangkok. Then most pubs are closed. The Corner Bar remains open for this.
