Reader question: Where can I park my car for a fee?
Dear readers,
I live in Mukdahan Thailand for three months and have already bought a car.
Well my question: is there a possibility to park my car somewhere near Bangkok or Pattaya for three quarters of a year. You can, of course, for a fee, but it must be safe. For the time being, that will be for a year or three.
With kind regards,
Fred

I have , soi 67, a parking space that belongs to the studio and has not been used. What kind of compensation are you thinking of.
Hello Fred, do you want an open-air tarpaulin shed, a semi-open shed or a closed shed? And what is the size of the car? Gr. Edward
I live in a condo and the owner of the block has a big house with space for the car. I stole it there. Did you give her permission to use it? It is better for a car that it is used than that it stands still for a long time. especially if it is over a longer period of time. Over time, a car also loses value in Thailand, so it is better to let it drive. Do draw up paper regarding maintenance, consumption and repair after an accident. And it is a matter of mutual trust.
This is a very bad idea given my own experience and what I've seen in others. Jan rap and his mate will use your outo and not too gently. Any maintenance is postponed until you get back and then you can fix it yourself. Scratch and dent, you get a wai, a smile and they're gone. No, good dry place, have the battery charged every now and then (with a timer on it) remove the wheels from the floor, grease all the chrome, slowly spray a can of lubricating oil into the air (after the filter) with the engine running at idle until it smells horribly. corpse smokes. Everything in the combustion chamber and exhaust is now grease and will stop being corrosive for a while. I have 5 cars of which a VOLVO and Alto in Holland, the for, pajero and swift in Thailand. The only time the pajero came into Thai hands I got it back with a leaking head gasket. God knows what they've done with it.
@ marcus, that's right, I've also experienced this myself where after a repair (collision) there was 3000 more km on the counter and the battery was exchanged for a 2nd hand one.
From me it is 1500 km to Chang Mai so do the math. Could have more horror stories about this but then I digress again.
Advice to the questioner, don't.
what are you willing to pay for it in pattaya close to the bus to airport ([email protected])
Hi Fred,
I have a great garage …… but yes it is in Chiangmai.
Regards Jan.
You can park the car with me for free I live near pattaya
A friend of mine has a condo whose 5th floor parking space is available for 3 years or more in Bangkok, Sukumvit Road, between Soi Nana (soi 4) and soi 6.
Those interested can call 0871303719 in Thailand.
Price in consultation.
Hi Fred,
You can park the car in Shining Star Complex (Jomtien.) in a parking garage.
Costs 1000 baht per month. Store at your own risk; but nothing ever happens.

A bargain!!! Here in BKK center, surplus parking spaces close to Sukhumvit are rented out for 3000 - 5000 per month, which is not crazy, 100 to 150 per day, monitored, covered, camera coverage, wide parking lot so no risk of door open damage. For such a long period of time, it seems to me that 1000 per month is a bargain.
