Reader question: We are looking for an apartment for six weeks (Khao Takiab – Hua Hin area)
Dear readers,
We want to come to Thailand from mid-September to October. We are looking for an apartment in Hua Hin in the vicinity of Khao Takiab
for 2 persons by the sea.
What is recommended?
Regards,
Color
Hi Cor
Take a look around Wave Crest,Takiap village
Greetings and good luck
We have been renting an apartment in Sea View Paradise for years. Located on the beach with a view of the big Buddha.
Hire from a Thai and he asks for 18.000 Bath for January. It is a 1 room apartment with kitchenette, dining area, bench and bathroom. Internet is available. Don't expect luxury, but it's fine for us. Bath bus stops right outside.
Mvg Yvonne
Dear Cor
We have been renting an apartment from a very reliable Thai owner for years (January and February).
He has two apartments, Baan Sandao and Baan Chatataly.
We pay approximately 50.000 Baht per month excluding electricity/water and cleaning costs. If you are interested, I would be happy to put you in touch with this owner.
Then contact me ; [email protected].
Regards Jan W. de Vos
Hi Cor
Check out the “La Or” resort in Hua Hin.
Very nice house, neat swimming pool, friendly staff.
It is advisable to rent a moped.
Must be at least 20 to 30 minutes walk to the beach.
greetings John
Rentalfortheholidays.com rents out many apartments in that area
neighborhood, many are located on the beach.

Hi Cor.
I regularly stay in Hua Hin on the Kao Takiab. It is best to send an email to Pam who runs a massage parlor at Kao Takiab. She is happy to mediate in the rental of various apartments.
You can reach her under: [email protected]
She will be happy to serve you. Give her greetings from John from Hollend.
Sawasdee khap Cor.
(email of course in English or Thai)
Good afternoon Corey,
Below you will find a link to a website of an Englishman (Greg) who owns an apartment in Takiab. I stayed there myself for three weeks, and it's just fantastic. Three swimming pools, within walking distance of the beach, and an excellent balcony view. At 100 meters you have, at least for me, the best fish restaurant in Hua Hin and surroundings.
The website:

You can also contact Greg by email: [email protected]
I am shocked by the rental prices !!
50.000/35.000 bath per month exclusive water/electricity.
here in udon thani 4500./5000.- bath per month water 300 bath elec per unit about 15.00
So say 6.000. Bath per month!
And then at least you are still in the real Thailand .
but yes it is what you choose .
