Home » Reader Submission » Reader Submission: Affordable and good restaurant in Pattaya
I found a nice restaurant in Pattaya where the prices are adjusted to our declining Euro.
Every Wednesday there is a buffet at the price of 295 Bath instead of 495 Bath per person. This restaurant is located in soi 89 just over Sukhumvit: Aroi Pub & Resto The buffet is changed every week.
Even with a free aperitif and a surprise dessert!
It is best to book in advance by calling 087-0433227

528th out of 628 on Tripadvisor is not very great but maybe unknown also makes unloved.
Video found on YouTube, note the nice chandelier.
It does have a fairly high level of croquettes, meatballs and (mushy) fries.
Mwah, sometimes you can just get an irresistible appetite for that.
And you'll get somewhere.
If I'm right, it belonged to a Fleming and now it belongs to a Dutchman.

This looks pretty tasty and affordable!
If I get so many dishes on my plate for this price, I can't go too often, otherwise I'll burst out of my pants.
Have a look next time.
Dear All,
Wherever you can eat well and for a nice price that is Dutch snack. It is located in a small soi, near Apex hotel on second road. From the road you will see a sign with the Dutch flag and 'Dutch Snack. You have a simple menu for 220 thb, soup, main course and dessert.
It is located on the side of the Apexhotel. Definitely worth trying, they also have Dutch food. Gr Rob
Well Rob and others, this one a real AFrader.
Been there 3x. No soft drinks available, burnt tomato soup (she later admitted this herself) and when I called half before I wanted to come what the menu of the day was, it suddenly turned out to be gone, just like the fries.
Then it is even better to take the buffet of the Apex hotel. 10x (booklet with 10 cards for 10 meals for 1800 Baht) or the Lek hotel.
Well John, I know a lot of people who eat there every day and are full of praise for it. I sometimes eat great food myself, so nothing wrong with that
Hello John,
Yes, it's bound to go wrong. Been there myself a few times but then it was pretty good especially for that price. What is nice is that if you search, there are plenty of affordable locations.
When I am in Pattaya, I occasionally go to Anton in Naklua. (for soi 27)
Evening buffet, tasty, and unlimited food for around 250 Baht. p/p
gr. Hans
Indeed also a German owner. Already enjoyed several times very tasty and very affordable in a clean, airy, cozy setting.
Tasty.
There are many German restaurants on this road.
I'm already in div. been to restaurants.
But, haven't come across a buffet yet, for a nice price.
gr. Khunhans
Indeed Khunhans,
”International Kuche” has no buffet!
An extensive menu with international dishes.
Very affordable prices.
Really recommended.
And what do you think of Thai garden very nice buffet;Thai Garden Resort
179/168 Moo5, North Pattaya Rd., Banglamung, 20150 Pattaya North
Also a gem among the restaurants is louis in soi 31 naklua………formerly owner of alois……..same food as alois, but the prices are significantly less……..a delicious 4 course dinner for 480 baht and a very friendly service.
