For those who are 75 years or older and live in Bangkok or the surrounding area, I can report that today I received an AstraZeneca vaccine without any problems. Everything was in English sometimes with a little hesitation.

Earlier I was sent from pillar to post in two large hospitals because they had no vaccines for foreigners.

If anyone tries to do this now in Bang Sue then I give you the following advice:

  • If not accompanied by a Thai person, have all data recorded in advance in the Thai language, such as passport data and address, weight, height, certain medicines that are taken (this facilitates registration on the spot).
  • If you arrive between 15.00 and 16.00 pm you can park the car.
  • You must enter via “Gate 1” but to park you may have to drive further than Gate 4 and then return on foot (by taxi is the easiest).
  • You can only go out through the other side of the building with a stamp on your paper for the second vaccination (you have to wait 30 minutes after the vaccination).

    Ferdinand,

first of all congratulations on 1nd vaccination. I was wondering 2 things:
    1. did you sign up for this (long in advance) and
    2. did you have to pay for it?
