Looking at houses from readers (30)
This is mine in Hua Hin, 2 km from the beach, bungalow of 240 m² on 650 m² of land next to a pond. Not a Thai style house and no Thai decor, but a Mediterranean style with terracotta terraces and terracotta flower pots for a tropical atmosphere.
Built in 2006 with a square meter price of 10.000 Baht. So 2,4 million paid excluding the land. Built with cavity walls, marble floors, glass wool insulated ceilings and hardwood frames. Three bedrooms and office space. Large veranda 35 m². Swimming pool with jacuzzi and outdoor shower with storage. Only occupied as a holiday home in winter. Electricity 2.500 Baht p/m, service costs, security, etc. 1800 Baht p/m. Leaving back to the Netherlands next year due to age.

Dear reader, have you also had a house built in Thailand? Send a photo with some information and the costs to [email protected] and we post it.
Really beautiful house and location, formidable garden, everything in harmony.
for sale due to return to the Netherlands due to age? Too young or too old?
Too old is not possible because most Dutch people who come to Thailand are of age because it is better here in Thailand as an older person than nowadays in the Netherlands.
I think it doesn't have to be a lengthy process to sell this house.
I don't have the money otherwise….
Another beautiful and well-maintained house in this series. Now it is true that people who make a mess of their living environment will not easily post an entry in this section.
After all, you also have to be a little proud of your house to be able to share it with others.
And there are also many expats who would like to realize this, but no longer have the means to achieve it today. Furthermore, of course, a stable and good relationship, based on trust and respect, because the non-Thai resident cannot be or become the legal owner.
After this intermezzo, go back to the house. Hua Hin is a prime location, 2 km from the beach and all amenities within reach, a dream for many. (also for me). My girlfriend is a flower and plant girl, enjoyed your photos and I am a Mediterranean lover of the style and decor.
Good luck with the possible sale, I think it will work just like that and a good transition, definitely back to the Netherlands.
House and garden look beautiful. Asking price?
Is it possible to indicate location?
Very nice.
Beautiful .. and what a good price for such quality and materials ...... yes a while ago already ...
What are you going to do with your house when you go back?
Sales will always have to take place including land, otherwise it will certainly cause problems for the future if you only sell the house… whoever buys it must have a very good relationship with a Thai again because of the land… are you really going to put it up for sale ( or is your target sales price including land for you?) or will your Thai relation stay behind in the house?
You leave because of your age, that is special…or you also have health reasons so that you prefer to return to NL.
Whatever you decide I wish you the best of luck and happiness
House and garden look nice, the garden not too big if you want to enjoy your retirement. Where in the Netherlands can you find such a beautiful house with the beautiful weather of Thailand?
Hugo,
Looks like a beautiful home to me. Unlike you, I'm going to settle in Thailand halfway next year. Then I will put an end to 43 years of career. We, my girlfriend and I, have a house in Khon Kean but wanted to live close to the coast. If your house is for sale, please contact us. Have fun there and afterwards in the Netherlands.
Keer
Beautiful house and beautifully manicured garden.
It looks like a park where we sometimes looked at at the time.
That would be from the Milford group.
They had a beautiful park where the houses are placed around 1 or more large ponds.
Back to the Netherlands because of age?
That is almost possible, there can of course also be other reasons, just health-related return because the insurance premiums are getting too high here?
I never say never.
But my plans now are to stay here until I fall over, so to speak. 😉
But never say never.
I think the Netherlands is a beautiful country.
But now the dark days before Christmas 😉 I don't like it at all.
Brr inside by the stove.
No, rather sweat here. LOL 555555
Good luck with the possible sale of this beautiful house.
Groet
Definitely a very nice house.
But not yet for me , as I like space and unobstructed views and especially no neighbors living at a short distance , the Thai countryside is an oasis of peace for me .
Because of my many hobbies I need a lot of space.
But if it happens in the future due to aging and the often associated physical complaints.
I'm still far too young at 66, something like that could be for me.
Jan Beute.
Hello Hugo,
Could you contact me?
Regards,
Peter
Dear Hugo,
Incredibly beautiful house. Ground floor and sleek in the suit.
Sometimes you see the amounts and you think to yourself or you maybe
spent too much or why didn't I think of this.
Well finished and definitely value for money.
I really like the garden and swimming pool with jacuzzi and outdoor shower.
The ceiling and lighting appeal to me very much.
Yours faithfully,
Erwin
looks nice. What is the asking price? I live in huahih and am looking.
thanks in advance
Hi Hugo, a beautiful house….. we are looking for a house of that caliber for sale. Any idea what you will ask for it and from when you go back to your dear Netherlands ???
