Looking at houses from readers (29)
Hereby pictures of our house near Chiang Mai. The house was built 6 years ago. The cost was 12 million baht, without swimming pool and garage.
Built with double walls, roof plate reinforced concrete with sprayed PU insulation. The house (550 m2), garage, swimming pool and garden, all ready in 6 months. I have 40 years of experience in villa construction in Belgium

Editor's Note: The photos are taught in low resolution, so not sharp.
Dear reader, have you also had a house built in Thailand? Send a photo with some information and the costs to [email protected] and we post it.
Beautiful and I sincerely mean that. I think I chose the wrong profession in the past. I really think it looks fantastic, but I have a modest budget. But what matters to me is that you are happy and satisfied with your home. In the English language they make a distinction between house and home. House can be any house on this planet, but home is your own place and that should be special for you and give you living pleasure and satisfaction. Wishing you the same in your beautiful home.
we are very happy in our home
Dear Henri,
The Flemish usually have a completely different meaning for the word “Home”. Tw senior housing
The Flemish generally live larger than the Dutch.
I need space, also in Thailand and comfort, after all, we have not worked to be in Thailand
come and live on 60m2, without comfort
Dutch houses are small and expensive, a housing shortage for Jan met de cap for decades, not surprising that the Dutch are forced to live smaller than, for example, the Flemish.
Can imagine that you can have a nice house built in Thailand for an affordable price with the desired size and facilities.
Dear Litter,
Your house is great, but that is also allowed for 12 million THB.
I myself live very comfortably in Thailand on 60m2 with a view of millions.
In addition, I am the owner, which also makes me feel comfortable.
Jan
fantastic villa,
Could be in Brasschaat like this!!
Enjoy it with the feeling of staying in Flanders a bit.
I lived in Wijnegem (Schilde Bergen)
Really what you call a villa
Can imagine, if you sell your house in the Netherlands or Belgium, or invest your saved money here ..
and for this money you build a house,
for something you always wanted to be proud of.
Why not, you enjoy your home every day after your retirement
With your second life in Thailand,
and take it with you
to next life I don't know if that is possible.
Have fun living.
gr Pete
Thank you
Really a beautiful house, not in Thai style but ok, you can also start a garage business right away.
Is there so much space in the Chiang Mai area?
Very nice tight house.
I also want to have it installed later
Now working on new construction condo
Ready end of next year
Dear Litter,
Very nice. Especially the garden.
The concrete appearance is very tight.
As for the whole, I must say 'big' and luxurious and very weather resistant.
Yours faithfully,
Erwin
Ps lots of living pleasure.
This is a cement house as you see a lot in Belgium. Your background is clearly visible here. Matter of taste.
What stands out ± every morning your difficult choice of which car should I take to drive to the 7-Eleven.
I wholeheartedly wish you that!
Beautiful house, but see that you have it for sale for 27m Bath? Good returns Don't like the neighborhood or are you going somewhere else? I'm curious because I'm also looking around in that area?
I'm going to build a new house. 500m from our house now
We have been living un Ban Numprae for 15 years
We love this neighborhood
Good neighbourhood. Have a few more projects lined up. You can always [email protected]
Do I see a Develter hanging on the wall there?
Indeed. Christian De Velter is a good friend. They lived here for 3 years 1 km away from us
What attention! Is less necessary for those many shopping carts 😉
Meanwhile, this house has been sold and
We have been living in our new house for 3 months,
Also modern, everything on the ground floor, with solar panels
Large wine cellar, swimming pool 15x6m
Can send photos if you want
Yes, send it to the editor with some text: [email protected]
Very nice, also our style.
Did you consciously opt for a concrete look?
MVG
Looks nice, but personally I would prefer something with a Thai look.
Beautiful house with a beautiful fleet, just wonder if maintenance and repair of a Jaquar is easy to do in Thailand.
Never see these cars in Thailand.
I had 6 Jags and Daimlers here, some sold back to friends, Maintenance no problem, we have a very good garage here in CM for old timers and
There are still hundreds of Jags in Thailand, Here in CM I know at least 20, In Bangkok there are still many
wow, a paradise.
Seen so many beautiful houses, but a few makes your heart beat faster.
This is one of them.
no, not my style, such a block box
for half the money you have a thai villa with a view of 50 mil.bth
Architecturally this is great class. Distinguished by simplicity and clean lines, and of course also by imposing dimensions (especially for Thailand).
Personally, I think it is a pity that this building is not located on a hill with a view of the Andaman Sea.
But I wouldn't dare invest my money in Thailand for fear that this untrustworthy regime will ever confiscate your belongings.
Well Carlo,
On a hill in the Andaman Sea? Then your view is: one very large horizontal stripe.
Nest may prefer mountain views and greenery.
And if you bet on one horse, you may be right, but then you won't sleep like a baby in such a beautiful house.
But Nest will have more chestnuts in the fire.
Finally a house to my taste.
Costs something, but then you also have something.
Most of the houses I've seen so far I found shabby, tasteless and very messy.
Very nice!
My humble opinion: 550 m2, 12000000 baht, 6 cars in the garage, but I think it's a terribly ugly thing.
It has nothing to do with Thai building traditions, it has nothing to do with Thailand, it "swears" in the landscape there.
I wonder, isn't there a "beauty committee" that can stop such monstrosities?
I've seen this before too.
Still think it's a beautiful home.
What a dream! I don't think I've ever seen a more beautiful house. And at such a bargain price. In your house you can only be happy in beautiful Thailand with all visa papers in order. Super!
