I would like to share our experience with the other readers of Thailandblog. My wife and I were fully vaccinated with Pfizer vaccine last year. Now our Belgian covid pass is no longer valid after March 1. We will only return to Belgium in the course of March. So looking for a booster vaccination in Thailand.

At the moment we are staying on Koh Phangan for a few weeks. At the local "Koh Phangan Hospital" I saw a vaccination village. Upon inquiry, this only appears to be active on Thursdays and Fridays. So went on Thursday. And no problem! Long-term tourists can also be given a vaccine.

After completing a medical questionnaire, we can pass smoothly through the perfectly organized Thai route. We get a number on our form, and go from plastic chair to the next plastic chair. A medical staff member briefly discusses the questionnaire with us, confirming that we will be vaccinated with Pfizer. Then we can go to the next stop.

Entering our passport data into the computer system seems to be the hardest part. There is a 10 minute waiting time. Then to the vaccination chair, where a needle is inserted into an arm every 30 seconds. We get a sticker stuck to the chest with the time at which our waiting time of 15 minutes will be over, and we can already occupy another seat.

After the waiting period has elapsed, we will be designated. We have to take off our sticker and put it on the controller's table. On Tuesday we can pick up our vaccination certificates. Everything for free.

Please let us know if you manage to get the first 2 vaccinations in Mor Prom and the last one in the EU app.
    I haven't succeeded yet.
Despite mutual recognition of certificates, the QR codes do not yet seem legible on both sides.

Not with us either. DCC EU is still under testing.

An international health certificate would be feasible. Let's venture out some day soon.
