WK2010

By Collin de Jong – Pattaya

Watching Dutch TV programs via the internet was hardly possible until now because the internet speed was too slow. The image often faltered, but broadcastingmiss.asia has found a solution.

They make it possible that people can now watch your favorite program with optimal picture quality. You can also follow your RTL broadcasts via EuroTVAsia

Then we can watch the BVN programs again, including a broadcast by Wereldomroep that recently interviewed two compatriots following my earlier article about old age pensioners who got into trouble. The criticism was not in the air and the program maker apologized for the huge mass of criticism.

Pattaya Prikpage took it a step further because apparently people also have little else to do in Pattaya. They do but I would say and you can also give your opinion via www.wereldomroep.nl or via www.pattayaprikpagina.nl

Orange in the quarter final World Cup 2010

It wasn't really easy but the end result counts and with two victories we are not only group winners but also through to the quarter finals where we can finally call on our savior Arjen Robben who we have missed so much.

Robben was in absolute top form throughout the season and scored one wonderful goal after another and is the absolute top player in the Orange team. The bookmakers experienced golden times with the many surprises in this World Cup tournament.

But also a downside this time with the many blundering referees at this World Cup level, which should not have been possible in 2010 with all the technical aids and a 4th and 5th man. Are they all asleep? What an irritation and annoyance and especially injustice for the teams of Australia, New Zealand and especially the USA. Australian striker Kewell received a shot ball to his arm on a free kick and the referee gave him a red card and Ghana a penalty.

Small neighbor New Zealand was also robbed of two much-needed points against Italy, who received a penalty as a gift. But the absolute limit was the black referee from Mali who made the most foolish decisions I've ever seen at a tournament against the USA. First, a player of the USA team got a ball in the face and was shown a yellow card. With a 0-2 deficit, America came to a tie and when they made 3-2 just before time, this bungler rejected a 100% valid goal.

Too ridiculous for words that people still do not use the necessary technical aids that are used in many other sports. A referee has too much power which should not and should not happen because the sporting and financial interests are of such a high level that a man should not take that responsibility. On the one hand to fight injustice, but especially the corruption in football, which is much worse than we think.

But how does FIFA get it into its head to use a Muslim referee in a match of the USA and see here the mega problem because this has cost the American team the head for the quarter finals. People should be able to protest about this because there was a very strange smell to it and I have been fighting for years with FIFA and UEFA for this incomprehensible injustice, which is always done by a bad or corrupt referee. But that a 4th and 5th man are also sleeping is incomprehensible to me at this level.

Another reason for me to file a serious complaint with those amateur sleepwalkers from FIFA because they also deserve a red card with this eternal bumbling.

Do you agree with me, let your voice be heard towards FIFA and also send them an email asking when they will finally start using technical aids to prevent these stupid mistakes. Especially FIFA president Sepp Blatter is the main culprit because this old-fashioned and over-aged director does not want to know anything about aids, which is too ridiculous for words in 2010.

Wild West Saloon Jomtien

Was a guest last week at the opening of the Wild West Saloon at the end of Soi 7 behind the AUSSIE bar. A completely new concept and I enjoyed the excellent Filipino band with many female singers. In short, a great win for Jomtien entertainment.

  1. EuroTV Asia can be seen not only in Pattaya but throughout Thailand. It's not free by the way.

I have a big but on this otherwise good idea. It's illegal! Especially since money is being asked for it. It is no different than reselling copied software or movies. If the company was located in China or another (ape) country, I would say ok. But through the right websites you can find everything about owner and living / working address in Thailand. Very tricky here in Thailand. I have made the same comment on their website. Within the hour it was gone and new messages are no longer posted. I am commenting because customers can also be victims of an action by the Thai government. Losing money or even getting arrested.

And then today England against Germany, what would the game have looked like if England's equalizer had counted... I still find it unbelievable, hope this will change.

I'm starting to wonder who can beat the referee again today.
I fear that the Orange will have to leave the field because of the dresses .

America, Denmark, Australia, England and the Netherlands are certainly not friends of the Taliban.
My conclusion is that these countries, including Germany and Spain, are not a world cup and Africa is not a bomb.

I was wondering if you can't just get Astra in Jomtien, and then you're all set with a CanalPlus ticket, right? Ask this because I bought apartment there…
