If you want to travel to Thailand as a family and bring small children, you must take into account the following entry conditions for children (Test and Go/Sandbox).

Travelers under 6 years old:

– Vaccination not required.
– Not required to present an RT-PCR test result upon arrival.
– Must travel with parents or legal guardian.
– Once in Thailand, the child must undergo a Covid-19 saliva test.

Travelers aged 6-11:

– Vaccination not required.
– A negative PCR test result (issued within 72 hours before departure) upon arrival is mandatory.
– Must travel with parents or legal guardian.

Travelers aged 12-17:

– Able to travel alone if vaccinated with 1 dose of vaccine not less than 14 days before travelling.
– If not vaccinated, must travel with parents.
– A negative PCR test result (issued within 72 hours before departure) upon arrival is mandatory.

Travelers aged 18 or older:

– Fully vaccinated no less than 14 days before travelling.
– Present an RT-PCR test result (issued within 72 hours before departure) upon arrival.

    Good afternoon we arrived in Thailand a week ago and were under the assumption that no RT-PCR test was required for children under 12 years old
    But our son 4 years old also had to have a test certificate in Dubai during transfer and ALSO in Thailand
    So missed flight and overnight stay in Dubai extra
    Also checked all this in Bangkok and yes all children must submit a negative test certificate
    Our son was also tested again with us in BKK with the PCR test and no saliva test
    So pay attention to this because you will get a lot of misery!!
