Charity Hua Hin asks for your help
Charity Hua Hin consists of a small group of Dutch people who together want to help poor people with disabilities in a simple and small-scale way, in the region where they live, namely Hua Hin, Pranburi, Nong Plab. Further, incidentally, in Pala-U and Sam Roi Yot.
Those poor people are selected by the employees of the social service of Hua Hin Hospital: they determine who needs help.
Sometimes patients drop out who are already being helped monthly, for example due to death or relocation. Hospital staff will then show us the way to the homes of new patients. In this way, Charity Hua Hin always serves approx. 25 patients.
All patients have in common that they cannot walk and are poor because they are unable to earn their own living. Most of them are bedridden because of spasticity, or after a TIA, or because of brain damage, usually as a result of a traffic accident. Some are in wheelchairs. The youngest patient is currently 15 months old, the oldest 86 years old.
Charity Hua Hin brings diapers, pads, milk powder, bandages and food packages to the patients every month. And incidentally other necessary items that are requested, such as an air mattress, a full gas bottle for cooking, blankets, etc.
In this way, THB 25.000 or Euro 660 is spent monthly, excluding incidental expenses.
Costs that are incurred are borne by the volunteers, ie donations are 100% for the benefit of the patients.
Especially during the holidays in December, we realize how good we have it and we like to think of the less fortunate in this world.
The Thai people who are helped by Charity Hua Hin receive a government benefit of THB 700 (€ 18,40) per month, which is completely insufficient: they can therefore rightly be counted among the less fortunate.
We ask you for a donation to continue our work. However, for security reasons (hackers and scammers) we do not want to mention a bank account number here.
