Above Eleven is one of the most popular rooftop bars in Bangkok, offering breathtaking views of the city skyline from the 33rd and 34th floors of the Fraser Suites building. It has a unique design concept, inspired by New York's Central Park; it's a mix of urban jungle-like greenery and stylish modern decor.

Known for its Peruvian-Japanese fusion cuisine, also known as Nikkei cuisine, the bar offers an array of innovative dishes that combine flavors from both cultures. In addition to the food, guests can enjoy an extensive range of cocktails, with some drinks as creative and unique as the food.

The atmosphere at Above Eleven is both lively and relaxed, with soft lighting and live DJ sets on some nights. It is an ideal place for both romantic dates and cozy gatherings with friends. Due to its popularity and beautiful views, booking in advance is recommended, especially if you want a spot on the edge to view Bangkok's skyline in all its glory.

Please note, there is a dress code. The following are not allowed at Above Eleven: Sandals, flip flops, or Birkenstocks (for men only fully closed shoes) Men's sleeveless t-shirts, backpacks, and luggage. Similar dress code applies to children.

My son Rik Franken is the rooftop manager of Octave in Bangkok. This is located on the 49 floor of the Marriot Sukhumvit. It is definitely worth a visit and especially if you have something to celebrate, Rik will put you in the spotlight

    Salute a proud father

Above Eleven was my favorite place in the past winter months Nov-April. Ideal opportunity to impress your girlfriends…
    It's an experience.
First, you take a groovy elevator that flies at dizzying speed to floor 33, where you then take a flight of stairs to floor 34. The walls of the elevator project images of towering apartment buildings on the groove of R&B music. And you come right out at the men's toilets where you can enjoy the skyline of Bkk, 180 ° while urinating. Below the bustle of Soi 11.
If you haven't made a reservation, they'll lead you up another floor. Everything is very trendy.
The prices are contiguous, 10-15 eu for a simple whiskey-soda.
I simply pointed to a whiskey at the bar, an Aberfeldy single malt and had to pay 36 eu, but that is one of the risks of visiting such places…
On Wednesdays it's salsa. on the dance floor. Before that I had followed salsa lessons and bachata in Belgium. Reason to go to Above Eleven. Unfortunately I didn't get a job because super professional Japanese dancers hijacked the Thai girls.
Conclusion: overwhelming and expensive. Older falang men take their Thai ladies there to introduce them to Western standards with a pinch of upper class.
Well, Thai ladies deserve it, beautiful and reserved as they are.
