Those who want to go out in Pattaya have plenty of choice. If you are still so familiar, you might choose Walking Street, but the more experienced walkers will advise against it: too busy, too expensive and too noisy. A better alternative is, for example, Soi LK Metro.

Soi LK Metro is only 200 meters long but has a lot to offer. Besides the beer bars and gogo bars you will find budget guesthouses and of course street food. The street takes its name from the LK Metropole hotel on Soi Diana Inn (between Second Road and Soi Buakhao), behind which the L-shaped road runs. The bar staff here are generally more easygoing, less pushy and speak fairly good English.

Another advantage of Soi LK Metro is that beer prices are generally lower.
Go check it out.

Indeed much nicer than Walking Street. Billabong and Climax (under the same owner) are my favorite bars. Personally, I don't like the band at Billabong. Incidentally, the man of the video may sometimes practice pronouncing Pattaya.

Also recommended is soi 25, or Soi Chayapoon diagonally opposite LK Metro. An upcoming street, where more and more bars are opening their doors. Among other things, a very nice bar is "Korn Beer Bar" where many Dutch people find their way. Ice cold beer, great music, so not that noise you hear everywhere, but real nice music that the slightly older people can enjoy. Even now and then they pass around with a free snack… no pool, no TV, but a really nice bar, a real recommendation

Prices are lower than walking street but much higher than in the other parts of the city.
    It really gets overrated.
