Dear Martin,
I take medication every night to help me sleep, 1 unit of LORAZEPAM 2,5 mg. Lorazepam is actually not a real sleep aid, but works on the following principle: it takes away your anxiety, makes you calm, so that your natural tiredness does its job and you can sleep. I am 72 and have been taking it for a very long time, I used to take it at a lower dose and it still works without many side effects.
My question: is Lorazepam also available in Thailand?
Regards,
M.

Dear M,
Lorazepam is available in Thailand under the names: Anta, Lonza, Lora and Tranava.
It probably won't work without a prescription from a Thai doctor.
Yours faithfully,
Dr. Maarten
