Dear Martin,
I am now staying in an ASQ and have a PCR Covid test on the 5th and 11th day. I had Covid in early January with very few symptoms just some loss of smell and taste.
Before my departure to Thailand I had a PCR swab test, the result was negative. Did a rapid test on the day of departure which indicated: IgM negative, IgG positive.
Now I read that there are people who are positive after their PCR test during their stay in an ASQ. After you have already had Covid, can you be positive again after a PCR test? Or only with a rapid test with a blood sample?
Regards,
J.

Dear S,
At most, this shows how unreliable the tests are.
Sincerely,
Dr. Maarten
