Dear Martin,
In May 2019 I used Teevir for 1 month. After 1 month I got yellow skin and stopped taking medication. The hospital then prescribed me Legalon 140 (silymarin) which I also used for a while.
This year started again with the use of medicines including Dulutgravir and 2 others. Virus undetectable after more than 2 months.
Because I was afraid of side effects, in addition to using medication, I also used silymarin 140 mg (Berlin Samarin) maintenance, 2 pills per day. One in the morning and 1 in the evening. I still do that.
My question: Is it useful to use silymariri in addition to my anti-viral treatment? If so, is the dose correct? Are there better alternatives to silymarin?
Regards,
J.
Dear J.
Here is an article about Silymarin. www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3586829/
This is about the dosage.
So you don't have to take more. There are undoubtedly other preparations with the same composition.
Look especially at the price.
Make sure you have enough vitamin D3, a maximum of 75 micrograms (3.000 IU) per day. Half is also allowed.
Sincerely,
Dr. Maarten
