Dear Martin,

I have type 2 diabetes. This morning my blood was tested and the value was 236. Here in Thailand they have a different calculation than in the Netherlands. Can you tell me what the value would be in the Netherlands?

I couldn't explain it to the nurse.

Thanks in advance for this,

Regards,

G.

*****

Dear G,

236 is a bit high. In the Netherlands this is L 13,1. The Netherlands is about the only country in the world that adheres to international values.

For convenience, here is a conversion table: www.mylife-diabetescare.nl/mylife-diabetesweetjes-omrekentabellen.html

Yours faithfully,

Maarten
