Are you taking your tablet to Thailand? Then these 10 travel apps will make your trip even more fun.

You can send an old school postcard worldwide with photos from your smartphone with this Dutch app. A reasonably fast internet connection is required. The app itself is free, but the tickets cost €1,99 each.

Evernote
Once the trip is booked, it's useful to have a place to store email confirmations, reviews, lists, and recommendations from friends. Evernote is an app that syncs between different devices and keeps everything. Saves time and once at destination no hassle with paperwork.

This app offers the possibility to listen to your favorite radio station for free. There is a choice of more than 70.000 radio stations. Never travel without your favorite music again!

TripIt
TripIt collects all your travel plans and puts them in a special travel program so that everything is in a clear and organized place. CEO Gareth Williams' personal assistant says he can no longer do without planning his agenda.

AroundMe

Here are some useful apps for the iPad.
12go.asia: gives all possible (train/boat/bus/plane, etc) connections with the corresponding ticket prices.
Translate: translates from one language eg NL into another language eg Thai. If desired, the app will even speak it for you.

Here are three more nice apps for the I-pad:

    1) Amazing Thailand (90 destinations)
    2) Tourisme Thailand (an Ebook with many extensive brochures in English and Thai) and
    3) Sombat Tour (bus schedule, times, distances and costs).

For everyone: best wishes for 2014 and editors: please 2014 as exciting, interesting, etc. as 2013!

Good luck in 2014 and beyond!
