For the 5th year in a row, EVA Air has earned a coveted place in the “World Safest Airlines for 2018” of airlineratings.com. This Australian organization is one of many other international industry and government organizations that consistently recognize EVA for maintaining high standards and ensuring safety as a top priority.
Airlineratings.com is a one-stop safety and product safety rating and review website for airlines around the world. The standards it used for its 2018 safety evaluations are best aviation practices established by aviation agencies, associations and governments, in addition to the analysis of safety performance over the past decade.
The editors of AirlineRatings.com are recognized worldwide for their expertise and in-depth knowledge of the airline industry. After monitoring and evaluating 409 airlines, they identified the world's 20 safest airlines. Each of these airlines has earned the maximum seven-star safety rating from AirlineRatings and has met its high standards.
EVA is one of only 10 airlines in the world to earn SKYTRAX's five-star rating for the highest quality worldwide.
Based on evaluations by the Jet Airliner's Crash Data Evaluation Center (JACDEC), EVA has been recognized 11 times by Aero International Magazine as one of the world's 10 safest airlines. And it has demonstrated zero defects in IATA's Operational Safety Audits (IOSA), conducted every two years since 2005.

It does not say anywhere that EVA Air is Australian. What it does say is that Airlineratings.com is an Australian organisation.

Mr Goort, you must read carefully what is written. The airline rating is an Australian organisation. It has rated EVA Air from Taiwan as the safest airlines in the world.

Fly from Paris with Eva airways since 1995 , the last 5 years from Amsterdam . First Elite class now for 5 years bisness prima servise with direct connection. In all those years 1 time left an hour later for the rest always punctually a bravo for Eva airwys.
Completely justified. My default airline for my flights to Bangkok every year. Very good service and friendly staff. I will be flying for years to come.
After China Airlines and KLM, it is already 2 years with Eva and must say a relief.
