Air France to fly to Phuket three times a week

From the end of November, you can travel to Thailand even more easily. Air France will then start a new scheduled service between Paris Charles de Gaulle and the popular island of Phuket. The route will be flown three times a week and is also interesting for Dutch travellers thanks to a short transfer in Paris.
Whether you are looking for sun, culture or nature, Phuket is a versatile destination in the south of Thailand. With this new connection, Air France offers a comfortable and fast way to reach the island, without long waiting times or complicated itineraries. Ideal for a relaxing holiday in the winter.
Comfortable journey with plenty of seating
For this new route, Air France is deploying a Boeing 777-300ER. This aircraft has room for 472 passengers. On board, you will find three classes: 14 seats in Business Class, 28 in Premium Economy and 430 in Economy. This makes it one of the larger aircraft in the Air France fleet.
The outbound flight leaves Paris at 15:50 and arrives in Phuket the next day at 09:25. The return flight leaves Thailand on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays at 11:50 and arrives in Paris at 19:10.
Popular destination in the Far East
Phuket is the eleventh Asian destination for Air France. The airline already flies to other major cities in the Far East, such as Bangkok, Tokyo, Shanghai, Seoul and Singapore. KLM, Air France's sister company, also has an extensive network in Asia.
Phuket is a popular destination for sun worshippers, thanks to its tropical beaches, charming villages and beautiful nature. The island is also a convenient base for trips to other parts of southern Thailand, such as Krabi, the Phi Phi Islands and Phang Nga.
Extra tip for Dutch travelers
If you are departing from the Netherlands, you can travel to Phuket via Schiphol with a short transfer in Paris. So you don't necessarily have to fly with an Asian airline. That makes planning your trip to Thailand a lot easier and clearer.
