The new Dutch ambassador to Thailand wants to meet the Dutch in Hua Hin/Cha am and the surrounding area on Friday 25 March. This 'meet and greet' will take place from 18 pm in restaurant Chef Cha.

Ambassador Van Wijngaarden offers those present an excellent buffet. Drinks are for your own account. Admission is free for all Dutch people and their partners, provided that everyone has been sufficiently vaccinated against Covid.

After the welcome speech by NVTHC chairman Do van Drunen and the ambassador's speech, there will be an opportunity to ask questions. After the buffet, Van Wijngaarden mingles with the guests.

As Chef Cha would like to know how many people he has to cook for, please register before March 23 through NVTHC Secretary [email protected].

Dutch citizens who need a consular consultation hour must register separately via [email protected].

Restaurant Chef Cha is located on Canal Road. From Hua Hin you will find it about 300 meters after the entrance of Palm Hills on the left. From Cha am it is before Palm Hills. There is ample parking available.

  1. Jacques says up

It is also apparently not possible to apply for an income support letter during this visit. What is the reason for this anyway. To know for sure that this would be a solution for a reasonable number of Dutch people. After all, we are talking about a simple A4 sheet that can be easily printed with a laptop computer. Incidentally, it is nice that the ambassador is mobile and meets the compatriots.
