From Monday April 29 to Wednesday May 1, the Dutch embassy offers the opportunity to apply for a Dutch passport or identity card in Chiang Mai, have your life certificate signed and/or receive a DigiD activation code.
If you would like to make an appointment for this, please send an email to [email protected]. Write in the subject line of your email: MVA Chiang Mai and state in the email your full passport name and date of birth, and which consular service(s) you want to use (passport, DigiD and/or life certificate). You will then receive the time and location of your appointment and any further instructions. (If you have previously registered, you do not need to respond now. You will soon receive the time and location of your appointment.)
There is a maximum number of registrations for applying for a passport. Make sure you register on time.
Yours faithfully,
Dutch Embassy Bangkok

Good service from the Dutch Embassy.
I was helped there last year in November for passport renewal.
The biggest problem is finding a photo shop that can take the passport photo regarding the distance measurements.
Even with the help of downloadable examples, things often go wrong.
The consular employee told me that during the first two days in Chiangmai he had to send almost half of the applicants back to do it all again.
The embassy employee works with a kind of mold, which he places over the photo, it is really millimeter work.
