A good initiative, especially for those people who are reluctant to travel to faraway Bangkok, it is recommended, I took advantage of it myself in 2022, my application for a new passport was arranged in no time, can many years later, I thank you.

Unfortunately, they do not visit Pattaya, where many expats live. Still a shame.

The embassy party was already in Pattaya before the mentioned places. That was a month ago, on July 23, 2023, Better pay attention, Ron!

I have now registered for the passport renewal in Chiangmai, and this morning I received an email back from the embassy that, due to the great interest there, it is already completely full on Thursday, November 23.
However, they are moving my application a day earlier on Wednesday, November 22, until further notice.
By the way, a good initiative by the embassy, which apparently attracts a lot of interest in the north of Thailand.
Now you are still looking for a photo shop in Chiangmai or the surrounding area that can take a perfect passport photo that meets the requirements for the photo.
I am familiar with the requirements.

    Jan Beute.
