Agenda: Remembrance Day Kanchanaburi 2019

Message from the Dutch Embassy in Bangkok:
On August 15, we honor the victims of World War II in Asia through commemorations and wreath-laying in Kanchanaburi and Chunkai. Of course everyone is welcome at these commemorations, for this reason the embassy will provide transport from Bangkok.
The day program:
- 07:45 – 08:00: Meet at the Dutch embassy, 15 Soi Tonson, Ploenchit Road, Bangkok 10330. (With sufficient registrations via the embassy, the NTCC will organize central transport; a personal contribution will be requested for this).
- 08:00 – 11:00: Departure to Kanchanaburi at 08:00 (with sufficient registrations).
- 11:00 AM – 11:30 AM: Meet at Thailand-Burma Railway Center (TBRC) in Kanchanaburi.
- 11:30 – 12:00: Ceremony starts at Don Rak Cemetery of Honor.
- 12:00 – 12:10 PM: Departure to Chungkai War Cemetery.
- 12:10 – 12:30: Wreath laying starts at Chungkai Cemetery of Honor.
- 12:45 – 15:00: Lunch in Kanchanaburi (With sufficient registrations via the embassy (25>), the Thailand Business Foundation will organize a lunch at a local restaurant; a personal contribution of 100 THB per participant will be collected on the spot for this ).
- 15:00 PM – 17:30 PM: Transfer back to Bangkok.
