As previously announced, the Dutch embassy will hold a number of consular office hours in Thailand in the coming months, in cities other than Bangkok. During these consultation hours it is possible for Dutch people to apply for a passport or have your life certificate signed.
The next consular office hours will be held in Chiang Mai on:
- Wednesday December 1, 2021, 11.00 a.m. – 16.00 p.m
- Venue: Weave Artisan Society
- 12/8 Wua Lai Rd Soi 3, Tambon Hai Ya, Mueang Chiang Mai District, Chiang Mai
If you have registered for this consular consultation, you will receive an e-mail with the exact time of your appointment.
If you have not registered and still want to make use of this consultation, you can send an e-mail until November 25, 2021 to [email protected] There are still a few places left and we will try to schedule you.
Information about consular office hours in Hua Hin, Pattaya and Phuket will follow soon, on Facebook and via email.

I think this only concerns a consular consultation, for passport renewal or empathy statement or the like.
And not an introductory meeting with the new ambassador.
At the moment I do not need a consular consultation.
But if there would be a meeting, I would like to be there with my Thai spouse and stepson.

On 17-11-2021, a lunch was offered in Khon Kaen prior to the consular office hours.
Did the budget then leave no room for extras in addition to the consultation hours at the various locations? 🙂
