Koh Samui has been popular for years Island for beach and sea lovers.

Are you looking for hustle and bustle and lively beaches, then the 7 kilometer long Chaweng Beach is recommended. This is the largest, most popular and developed beach on the east coast of Koh Samui. Here you have the choice of accommodations that are right on the beach. You can walk straight out of your bed into the sea to wake up. Furthermore, Chaweng is filled with restaurants, spas, souvenir shops, bars, discos and more touristy fun.

Smaller and more authentic, Lamai Beach is located in the south of the island. The most relaxed beach is probably the 2 km long Bophut Beach with white sand and swaying coconut palms, the perfect place to relax. The originally fishing village of Bophut is nice to visit, especially at night. You will find nice shops with clothing and jewelry, as well as many restaurants and bars that provide a friendly atmosphere.

The main reason to go to Samui is the beautiful beaches from lively to deserted. On the west coast you will find a number of luxury resorts with spas. The beaches there are less wide but almost unspoilt so a good choice if you are looking for peace.

You can also easily take the ferry from Koh Samui to Koh Pha Ngan for the Full Moon Party or to Koh Tao for snorkeling or diving.
