I happened to see today that the Thai embassy in Brussels has changed its visa page on the website.

Visa Service – Royal Thai Embassy Brussels

It is positive that there is now finally the mention of Non-immigrant O (Retired).

NON-IMMIGRANT “O” (retirement) Single entry – Royal Thai Embassy Brussels

Apparently, the same insurance is now required for the non-immigrant O “retired” as for the OA visa.
Then it is easier and cheaper to leave with a tourist visa (better still: with a visa exemption) and apply for a non-immigrant O “retired” visa on the spot?

It seems to me to be a lot more complex. I wonder who will eventually get head or tail of this, especially when you consider that this is a visa for pensioners, most of whom are not digital experts at all. And I read everywhere that things were going to be relaxed a bit to boost tourism again, in particular to attract retirees.

    A CV is madness, hahahaha
What is the use of this when submitting a pension certificate? 🙂

That medical document … I wonder what is meant by the second director

That medical document is for an STV.
Is also requested for a Non-OA visa.
That you are not suffering from dangerous infectious disease according to Ministerial Regulation No.14 (BE 2535).
Has nothing to do with COVID

You can find an example of this on the website of the Thai embassy in The Hague.

For the 60 days tourist visa I read on the website of the Embassy of Brussels

“1 copy of a confirmed hotel reservation OR an invitation letter/mail from a person in Thailand with a full address and 1 copy of this person's identity card + proof that this person lives in Thailand”

Well, I have a condo in Jomtien. The title deed and booklet are there in the safe.
That's why I asked the manager of the building if he could confirm that I am the owner.
I have a letter from him on letterhead from the building that I own a condo
in my name. I don't know if this will be accepted...

Asks him to attach a copy of his ID. Should be enough for them I guess.
