A young Thai lover? So what!

Since many Dutch and Belgians living in Thailand are no longer among the youngest, we will go back in time and look at the titillating stories and photos from past years. We go back to 1953, the year Hugh Hefner launched the first Playboy.

The lady who exposed a lot for that time was none other than the legendary Marilyn Monroe. A photo in a one-piece bathing suit was already quite something and made the hearts of many men beat faster. As a rule, the issue always contained the playmate of the month and the famous lady in question was proud at the time to be chosen by Hefner as the shining centerpiece of Playboy. Many a young man will have secretly bought the magazine at that time or at least have leafed through it with red cheeks. Nowadays unimaginable.

Times change

The sexual revolution between 1960 and 1970 has broken many taboos and Playboy is a publication that young men no longer get upset about. In terms of sex, there is a lot more to be found on the Internet than Hugh Hefner ever thought possible in his wildest dreams. All these developments have caused the magazine's circulation to plummet. The pinnacle of worldwide fame was achieved in 1972 with a circulation of no less than 7 million copies. The magazine currently has a circulation of 800.000 copies, which is still not inconsiderable. However, the real cream is gone.

Playboy for sale

The current owners, Rizvi Traverse Management LLC, which owns two-thirds of the shares and Hugh Hefner with one-third, have put the magazine up for sale. According to The Wall Street Journal, the magazine, not to mention the associated world-famous brand name 'Playboy', should be able to generate USD 500 million. Hefner's home, the famous Playboy Mansion, is also up for sale with an asking price of $200 million. And for that price you get mister personally because the buyer must allow Hefner to live there until his death. The residence has 22 rooms, wine cellar, cinema, tennis court, swimming pool and games room. As for the playroom, you can let your imagination run wild.

Age difference

You don't have to feel sorry for Hefner and he will certainly not have to bite a stick after the divestment of Playboy, which he founded. Farangs who are considerably older than their Thai lover should take a look at this Hugh Hefner. He had many young girlfriends and enjoyed himself in his mansion with many beautiful young ladies. In 2012, at the age of 86, he married the 60-year-younger Chrystal Harris, so gentlemen, what does age say? If you only have money, you can also buy a lot of love, right? On April 6, Hugh will celebrate his 90th birthday and even after his death he wants to stay close to a beautiful lady. He has already arranged the grave next to Playboy's first playmate: Marilyn Monroe.

Judging from the accompanying photo, I dare say that he was looking warm and apparently still is. Money can get you anything, that's how the world works. As long as it is done with common sense and with mutual approval and 18+, then it should be possible.

In the Netherlands and the US, however, 'the price of love' is many times higher than in countries where the standard of living is lower. Few are as wealthy as Hugh Hefner.
In many of those countries the ladies are inaccessible for religious reasons. Thailand is one of the few countries where 'love' can be bought for a reasonable price.
Of course, as long as the wallet is full.

      Hi Roel,

Not only in Thailand is “love for sale” for a reasonable price.
The surrounding countries also have something to offer.
Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos, Philippines, Indonesia and so on.
Also Cuba, Africa, Dominican Republic and surroundings.
And don't forget the Eastern Bloc countries, you can also easily find a mail order bride there.
And it can also be done in Muslim countries. You must first get married and then file for divorce after your holiday.

I am 60 years old myself and have had many younger women, especially in Thailand.
But also not too young 35-40 years I think is a good age.
So sometimes I feel a bit like a Hans Hefner, but without money and still beautiful women.
      Hans

With money, not everything is "to be had" as Jacques says, but he will mean everything "for sale".
I'm ready for a relationship again and I've gotten older but not richer.
Yet I receive a lot of responses and interests from young Thai ladies on relationship websites, even though I have drawn up a very realistic "profile". When I was 64, I tried to take out life insurance, but there was nothing more than “risk insurance”.
I am not planning to buy a house in Thailand, not even with a new girlfriend. I don't need to own a house at the age of 65 and prefer to spend my money on other things. I wrote in my profile that I don't want any more children after raising 15 children alone for 3 years. Thai women want at least 1 child of their own because that is a kind of guarantee for when you are old, then the child must somehow take care of the father and / or mother. If you were to take a young girlfriend, then you would have a young child "in the stomach". That's not an option for me.
If I had a girlfriend who is 25 to 40 years younger than me, then I can assume that I will die sooner. Then she is left and meanwhile has grown older with all the consequences that entails, no security for her old age, no life insurance, no home of her own, no income, what is she supposed to do? meanwhile got used to a man who supported her. I've always thought about that. I have not let myself be carried away by sexual stimuli (fortunately there are still) but used my mind and in all fairness I now have a 50 year old girlfriend who has her own house and land and is self-employed. Her 2 children have left home. I had to look for her for a long time. I'm not jealous of Heffner who could always be seen surrounded by beautiful, young blondes, but I'm sure there was a downside to the coin.
Desires may be there and stay but keep the mind and stay realistic and appreciate what you have.

Nice, I still remember. I even thought, I'm not sure anymore, that the magazine was banned in the Netherlands. NL was very prudish and for our entertainment we went to Antwerp because everything was allowed there. Even condoms were forbidden anywhere in the Netherlands, let alone women in bathing suits in a magazine. The bikini did not exist yet and when it came it almost became a revolution.
