Tree Town has become a regular stop for me when I want to go out for a night. I've been living in Pattaya for years and I can tell you, I've seen just about every corner of the city. But Tree Town, yes, it remains one of those places where I keep coming back with my friends. You can find it in the middle of Soi Buakhao, and it has everything a bon vivant like me is looking for: good food, cold beer and always a nice atmosphere.

The charm of Tree Town lies in its simplicity. It is not an over-the-top nightlife venue, but rather a large area with all kinds of food stalls and bars where you can just sit down and relax. I love the Thai dishes that you can get here, but to be honest, a nice hamburger or kebab every now and then is also nice. And the great thing is, the prices are still friendly, even for a pensioner like me!

What makes Tree Town really special for me is the diversity. You meet everyone here, from tourists exploring Pattaya for the first time to old hands who have lived here as long as I have. The music is always good, often live, and sometimes I even take the microphone when there is a karaoke night. What can I say, I love to perform my old Dutch classics.

And then there’s the sports! A lot of the bars have big screens, so if there’s a Formula 1 race or an exciting football match, I know exactly where to go. It’s great to have a beer in your hand and some good friends next to you, cheering on Max Verstappen or your favourite club.

Tree Town is for me a little piece of home in the heart of Pattaya. It is not a fancy place, but it doesn’t have to be. It is a place where you can be yourself, where you meet your friends, and where you can just enjoy the good life that Pattaya has to offer. And that, my friends, is for me the real life in the land of milk and honey!

Great place indeed, but for me the music could be a bit quieter (or better coordinated).

Nowadays it often happens that live bands perform within a radius of 20-30 meters.
It doesn't have to be pretty as long as it's hard.

Music is a common thread in my life, and I find it a shame that even in Tree Town I often feel forced to leave because my insides are thundering from the excessive volume, and I can't hear the person next to me...

I have been to Pattaya 50 times, but I must say that I also find Tree Town a revelation. I also go there almost every day when I am in Pattaya.
just a little different from the metro with its many go-go bars.
just a tip. I also regularly go to a bar where it is very relaxed and where there are no ladies who push themselves, unfortunately I don't know the name, but it is on the corner of soi 6/beach road. very cozy and friendly atmosphere, nice open bar.

That's right, but you have to like cannabis because it's the

Dankster Beach Seaview Lounge and Dispensary smells pretty good.

Furthermore, very cozy and a pool table

    Hello, dear Thailand bloggers.

I am just a passer-by and visit Thailandblog almost exclusively to occasionally pick up some useful information and refrain from commenting. I have been to Thailand many times but never to Pattaya and therefore know nothing about it, except rumours.

I took the time to watch the Tik Tokkie video.

I think it looks like a nightmare.

Unfortunately, there are quite a few of these gathering places to be found all over Thailand, varying in size.

But it is always useful to know what football and Formula 1 philosophizing rednecks are gravitating about.

Because where they are, I am not 😉
