Expats, who in Pattaya living, but also tourists who visit this place and its surroundings, get a rich offer of opportunities that many other cities lack. The city has many hotels and restaurants with sufficient options from various countries and also vegetarian and halal restaurants.

In previous postings, many possibilities have been listed what there is to see or visit. Well-known places are the Sanctuary of Truth, the Vienharna, the Jangsawararam, the Three Kingdoms Park, the area around Kao Chin Chan with the Silverlake Winery, but also the Gems Gallery, Art in Paradise and Underwaterworld.

The latest additions are Flowerland Pattaya and Siam Legend. Remarkable is the low number of visitors to these sights, such as Sukhavadee on Sukhumvit Road. A fantastic building of the Chotitawan family, where both the tower and the main building are beautifully decorated with many art treasures, Buddha images and sacred images. Interesting is the building where the Chinese zodiac is depicted life-size. The beautiful park with statues invites you to take a walk.

For the more sporty visitor to Pattaya, there are two large water parks to visit or one of the 27 golf parks. Ramayana is, as far as we know, the largest water park in Thailand. Or rent a boat with a group at the Ocean Marina Yacht Club and sail to Koh Khram, for example, about 20 minutes. Those who prefer to keep it dry can go to the go-kart track near the Bali Hai pier or go shooting with a group with laser guns in the Central Festival Beach center. A building with a floor area of no less than 220.000 square meters spread over 7 floors, where literally everything is for sale and equipped with a number of banking facilities. Pattaya has more big things like the recently opened Terminal 21.

Show lovers can go to Kaan, Thai alangkarn cultural show and the Colosseum. The oldest known theaters for cabaret shows are Alcazar and Tiffany, the latter was recently renovated.

Who needs to look further? Then U-Tapao airport, near Pattaya, offers both local and international flights. For example, locally to Chang Mai (over an hour) or internationally to Macao, Kuala Lumpur

This is just a selection of the many possibilities that Pattaya and the surrounding area has to offer, but it remains surprising that many sights attract so few visitors, while sometimes the entrance is free or from 50 baht and higher (see brochures and the internet).
