Thailand Visa question No. 213/23: Visa office in Khon Kaen?
I will soon be living in Khon Kean for a period of time. I currently have a Retirement visa that I have renewed every year by an agency here in Chiangmai.
Now I am looking for a good visa agency in Khon Kaen who can help me with the annual visa extension and possibly. the 90 day reporting at the Emigration department.
I have been busy for an hour registering on the site for my 90 day notification. follow all instructions first go to online services, then I press the link: with the image apply for notification for staying in the kingdom (over 90 days) TM 47, and I am sent back to the instructions on how to do it.
Thailand Visa question No. 211/23: Non-immigrant O application – Certified true Copy
As a retired Belgian, I have the following question for you. I meet the conditions to apply for a NON Immigrant O Retred visa (90 days max).
One of the requirements is “Proof of accommodation in Thailand or, invitation letter from family/friends in Thailand.
I am staying in Thailand on a Non-O retirement annual extension (800K) and have a Multiple Re-entry stamp. Arriving by plane several times a year, I do not have to register for a new TM30 because I stay at the same address, which is confirmed every 90 days.
Thailand Visa question No. 209/23: Non-immigrant O – Thai Marriage
I have been married to a Thai woman for 5 years now. In about 1 to 2 years we want to live in Thailand for about 6 to 8 months every year. Now I thought of applying for a Marriage Visa for that.
My question is about a non-imm-O annual visa. I can't find what I want to know on TB. This year, for the first time, I have a bank book in 2 names, me and my Thai girlfriend. This has more than 1.6 million in it.
Thailand Visa question No. 207/23: Immigration Bangkok – Thai Marriage – Under consideration stamp
This year I again applied for an extension of my stay on the basis of marriage and income declaration. I sent the necessary papers to the embassy and within a week I received the statement by post. I had neglected to make an appointment with FA, so I had to make an appointment and it was only possible 3 weeks later.
My Belgian friend will arrive in Bangkok on November 11 and will then receive a 30-day stay in his passport. He leaves back to Belgium on December 18, so he is one week short. Previously we were able to get the bridge over extra days via Mea Sai, but that doesn't work now.
Thailand Visa question No. 204/23: Validity period of Non-immigrant O and how long does it take to apply?
I have largely mapped out my plan to emigrate. The remaining questions are how long a 3-month O visa Thai Marriage application takes and if so, if approved, how long does it take to travel? I am still in the thinking phase of selling a house (key transfer) and then applying for a visa, or first agreeing to a visa application and then selling a house, not knowing how long your house will be for sale.
Thailand Visa question No. 205/23: Visa application – Fill in name
I have a question about the 90 day visa. I filled in all the details as on my passport, uploaded documents, and clicked done. When I look at the declaration to be signed, my surname first, then my third baptismal name, then my second baptismal name and finally my 1st baptismal name. I can't correct that anywhere in the statement.
Thailand Visa question No. 203/23: Non-immigrant OA and how can I renew without health insurance?
I have a non-OA annual visa and need to renew it next year. Can I convert this to a retirement visa or other annual visa (my wife has Thai nationality). The non OA retirement visa is always linked to health insurance, which sometimes makes it more difficult.
Thailand Visa question No. 202/23: Non-immigrant O – Year extension and opening bank account
My husband wants to convert his retiremend O visa into an annual visa this year, even though we only stay there for 3 months each year, so that he can extend his driver's license for more than 1 year. I just read that for an annual visa you need a Thai bank account with 800.000 baht. Now that amount is not the problem, but the Thai bill is.
Thailand Visa question No. 201/23: Non-immigrant O applications and no relationship with Thai
A friend comes to Thailand. He wants a retirement. But in Belgium he cannot obtain Non imm O because he is not related to a Thai person. The 800.000 baht are in a Thai account. Do you have any advice?
The application list for Visa O includes the following questions in English. Since my English is not optimal, I have translated it into Dutch, but I am not convinced that the question is now 100% correct.
Request 60 days TR. I became unemployed partly due to family circumstances. You must indicate your employer and work when applying for a visa. My fear is that if I register as unemployed, the visa will not be issued. I meet all requirements regarding booking, money, reservation, etc. Providing false information, even if the chance of verification is small, is not my thing.
Thailand Visa question No. 198/23: Is a copy from the Dutch bank sufficient for one-year extension or conversion of visa type?
To then convert the visa in Thailand into 1 year non-O retired... Is a statement from a Dutch bank also sufficient? Or should it be placed on a Thai sofa as usual?
Thailand Visa question No. 197/23: How does the Thai embassy know that I am not in the Netherlands when applying for a visa online?
How does the embassy know that I am/or am not in the Netherlands, since we no longer have to upload flight details? If my previous visa and period of residence have expired, and I have gone to Cambodia (or Malaysia, Laos, etc.) (and therefore have an exit stamp), I can be anywhere, in the Netherlands or abroad. Maybe I'm overlooking something, but I'm very curious about your response.
