From the editors: No newsletter was sent on March 4
Yesterday the editors forgot to report that on Friday 4 March no new postings were made and therefore no newsletter was sent. The reason for this is that certain migration and maintenance activities took longer to complete.

Update FAQ entry conditions Thailand (November 4)
We live in uncertain times due to Covid-19. And that certainly applies to Thailandblog readers who would like to travel to Thailand. The entry conditions used to be very strict and are gradually becoming more flexible. For example, as of 1 November there is an important change with regard to the quarantine obligation and the CoE. We understand that this raises many questions. To try to create some order in the chaos, we are going to bundle the information here by means of an FAQ. This page will therefore be regularly updated.
From the editor: No new postings yesterday due to circumstances
No posts yesterday and today will be something else. What is going on. Peter (formerly Khun) had to go to the hospital for a day hospitalization on Friday. Due to an allergic reaction, an unexpected day was added. Today is a recovery day, so it's a bit of work. It was only a minor procedure, so no further worries. Tomorrow and the rest of the week everything will be back to normal.
Dear readers, today we can share a special moment with you. There are no fewer than a quarter of a million comments on Thailandblog! A truly staggering number. We are very proud of this result and would like to thank everyone who contributed to it.
From the editors: For the time being, no more Covid-19 pandemic articles submitted to Thailandblog
The editors have decided not to post any Covid-19 pandemic messages for the time being (still news items such as from Bangkok Post). The government and the media have succeeded in making a large part of the population terrified of Covid-19, and that is also the case with some of our readers.
Have a nice King's Day everyone!
The editors wish everyone in the Netherlands and Thailand a happy King's Day!

A new year, it can only get better!
Yesterday we put the year 2020 behind us and that felt like a kind of relief. Because no matter how you look at it, it's been a rotten year. The corona pandemic held us all in its iron grip. Traveling was difficult, especially to Thailand. Families and partners were separated for months.
Happy New Year and wishing you a prosperous 2021!
The bloggers and editors wish all readers of Thailandblog a prosperous and healthy 2021
