Every week a Dutch or Belgian dies in Thailand. Fortunately, it is a fairly large group, so that the times that you become involved in a death are fortunately limited. But what if it concerns a compatriot who lives near you or lives in the same village. It happened to Adri, who wrote a story about it in 2017.

Gringo has already written an excellent story about sports in Thailand and the editors have not left their mark either. Of course I will not repeat that, but I do want to elaborate on one aspect, namely the risk of overheating. And overheating can be life-threatening.

Fueled by gallons of coffee and unintentional sleepless nights, I've shared these adventures before. Yet sometimes the real chaos begins long before the exotic destination is reached, such as in the kerosene-scented halls of Schiphol, where even a simple visit to the toilet can take an unexpected turn.

Even after 15 years, Thailand sometimes surprises me. Like recently when visiting a place of worship, not a temple. Extensively furnished with many hundreds of rabbits, but made of stone.

There was a connection quite quickly between the five men who had boarded the day train from Bangkok to Chang Mai. You sit together all day and it's nice to have something to chat about. Hands were shaken, first names and nationalities were exchanged. They were a British, a Russian, an Indian and a Chinese, all about fifty years old, and an eighty-year-old Dutchman. Everyone appeared to speak good English.

Traveling is an art, an adventure that extends beyond the comfort of familiar paths and familiar faces. This story by Lieven takes you on a special journey to Thailand, a country of contrasts and surprises, where every experience, from a ride in an overloaded song-thaew to navigating the hectic streets of Bangkok, is a story in itself . It is these moments that enrich us, make us laugh, and sometimes even test our patience. But most of all, they remind us that travel is not always about reaching a destination, but about the journey itself and the stories we take with us.

Every foreigner, who falls in love with a Thai beauty, has to deal with it at some point. At least, if the love is mutual and the relationship develops into a more or less serious relationship. Today a story by Lung Lala, which will be recognizable to many. You are sitting somewhere, for example on a terrace and somehow someone catches your attention.
