On January 3, 2019 we all want to celebrate the new year. We do that with oliebollen (free from the Green Parrot!) in the Captain's Pub in the Mermaid Hotel. Time for a look back at the old year and good intentions for the new.
Agenda: 'Move or shake' with comedian Leon van der Zanden – Pattaya 15 February 2019
Leon is rocking Pattaya with his program “KAMELEON” on February 15, 2019 at 20.00:XNUMX PM at Grand Jomtien Palace Hotel, Jomtien Beach Road.
Flemings and Dutch people are welcome on January 4 from 18.00 pm in Club Hua Hin (in Cha Am) to ring in the new year together with the NVTHC. We drink some 'bubbles' there and eat some finger food.
The next monthly drink is on December 6, on the name day of St. Nicholas. If it succeeds, the Goedheiligman will celebrate his name day this year during the monthly drink of the NVT.
Sinterklaas in Hua Hin: a lot of fun!
A lot of fun, worthy of Sinterklaas in Hua Hin. That is how we can call the arrival of the good saint in the royal seaside resort. The two Black Petes came tearing into the Happy Family Resort on quad bikes, while St. Nicholas followed with dignity.

This year the Dutch Association of Pattaya will once again be a guest at Eastern Star Golf and Country Club. Dutch golf enthusiasts and their guests are invited to participate in this fun and sporty tournament.
Agenda: Sinterklaas is coming
Sinterklaas is approaching and will pay a unique visit to Hua Hin on Friday, November 30. On that day, Saint Nicholas would like to bring a present to all children from Hua Hin, Cha Am and the surrounding area at Happy Family Resort, where René Braat provides the appropriate setting. Sinterklaas is accompanied by two new Black Petes.

Also this year we are happy that Sinterklaas has found the time to visit us in Pattaya. In addition to Sinterklaas' visit, we are also very pleased that ambassador Kees Rade has responded very enthusiastically to our invitation to meet the members of the Dutch Association in Pattaya on Sinterklaas evening.
Karin Bloemen flattens the hall in Thailand
The performance of Karin Bloemen in the restaurant of the Banyan golf club in Hua Hin on Saturday 27 October was a resounding success. Nearly 140 people celebrated the 10th anniversary of the Dutch Association Thailand Hua Hin-Cha Am this year. Ambassador Kees Rade and second husband Thomas van Leeuwen traveled to Hua Hin with their wives to celebrate this joyous occasion. The Banyan had provided a tasty and extensive Indonesian buffet.
On the cocktail evening of October 25, 2018, we are organizing a Dutch evening with herring and other snacks in collaboration with Tulip House to herald the start of the winter season.
