May 2024 promises to be a culturally special month in Thailand, rich in local festivities that reflect Thailand's heritage and sense of community.

Visakha Bucha Day will be celebrated nationwide on May 22, 2024. This important Buddhist festival coincides with the full moon of the sixth lunar month and honors the birth, enlightenment and death of Buddha.
