For lovers of Thai festivals, but not staying in Thailand, there is the possibility to experience this in Germany. The annual festival takes place in Kurort Bad Homburg, a place where the Thai king Chulalongkorn came for his health. In gratitude, the king donated the Thai Sala, around which this “Amazing Thailand Festival” takes place on Saturday, July 7 and Sunday, July 8.
A range of activities are again on the agenda. This includes traditional dance performances with music, fashion shows with Thai textiles and raffles where the proceeds are intended for the care and care of sick elephants in Thailand. The grand prize will be raffled off airline tickets to Thailand with a hotel stay. Furthermore, many culinary specialties, souvenirs and many handcrafted pieces. It is also possible to follow a Thai cooking course, for which you must register in advance.
The interest is great, last year the counter was already at 30.000 visitors. The official opening will take place on Saturday 7 July at 11 am.
