The Belgian Anna-Belle visits the largest Buddhist temple in Bangkok and that yields some beautiful photos for her blog.

It is estimated that 95 percent of Thai adhere to Buddhism. This can also be seen in the tens of thousands of temples spread across the country.

Speaking of Buddhist temples, and now I'm unfortunately going off-topic, how many are there in the Netherlands and Belgium and German border area? The Thai Wat Budhharama in Waalwijk and Wat Budhhavihara in Landsmeer are known to me (never visited). Surely there are more Theravada Buddhist temples or temples of another denomination? Real tempeks that are worthwhile in terms of design, no -with all due respect- converted living room temples. I think the Chinese in The Hague have something, but it looks more like a renovated living room. I have sometimes searched the internet for a few hours for a list of "real" Buddhist temples per denomination/nationality, but without any significant result. Surely I am not the only one who is curious about temples in the BeNeLux area?
