Beautiful beaches in Thailand: Maya Bay (video)
There are many of them Thailand. Dazzling beautiful beaches. You have to see them to believe it.
In this video an impression of Maya Bay in the south of Thailand. Maya Bay is located on the Phi Phi Islands, in the Andaman Sea, it belongs to the province of Krabi. You get there by taking a ferry from Phuket to Phi Phi Island. A speedboat or longtail boat is of course also possible.
You can spend the night on Phi Phi Island, for example at Phi Phi Island Village Resort & Spa. The next morning you sail with a long-tail boat to Maya Bay.
Maya Bay is a shallow bay with clear turquoise sea water. Characteristic are the overgrown steep limestone rocks that are very impressive.
Maya Bay is also known for the movie 'The Beach' with Leonardo Di Caprio.
Get dropped off at the back of the island instead of on it beach. You have to jump out of the boat and swim a short distance. You can then walk through the park to the famous beach (which is often overcrowded with tourists). That's a nice trip. Don't forget to bring a waterproof bag for your wallet and video and photo camera.
