Saint Nicholas doesn't let any grass grow over it! He has promised that he will be present at our drinks evening at Royal Varuna Yacht Club in Pattaya* on Thursday 26 November.
We wait for him from 17.00 p.m., and then sing “Saint Nicholas, come in with your servant”. He brings two Pieten and ginger nuts and gingerbread galore and then ….. presents for the children, who will be there again, and also for some chosen members. It will be a real old-fashioned party with occasional singing by Elvis Presley.
To make it a real winter party, we serve endive stew with a meatball for a fee of 250 Baht. Of course you have to sign up for that. Giving up on that is really important or we'll be in trouble! You can do this at [email protected]
Important: In addition to the 20 children from the Child Development and Protection Center who are already coming, you can of course bring your own offspring or other children! However, please notify Diny van Dieten in advance [email protected], and then also bring a present for each of those children on November 26, which will then be handed over by Saint Nicholas

*Route to Varuna. The red road down to the Police Box on Pratumnak Road was blocked at the last 'hooked' side road on the right. That road is now open again, but may be temporarily blocked again on November 26. Then take that side road (right), then turn left at the (busy) intersection, then drive straight ahead until the Varuna entrance (barrier). All in all, that is about 500 meters more than you are used to.
