This Saturday, November 19, Pattaya City is organizing a special commemoration in connection with the death of HM King Bhumibol. This commemoration is also broadcast on national TV.

All Dutch people and other foreigners are invited to this. The event starts at 18.00:16.00 PM, but please report to the lobby of the new Mera Mare Hotel, immediately left of the Hard Rock Hotel, between 17.00:17.00 PM and 1.000:XNUMX PM. Around XNUMX:XNUMX we go together to the 'Ering' at the end of Central Road. A special program will be carried out there. There is also a tribute of at least XNUMX boats in Pattaya Bay.

Black clothing is required. Please note, there are no seats available. Soft drinks and food are available (medical assistance is also on standby). The commemoration ends around 20.00 p.m.

At least 50.000 people are expected on Pattaya Beach Road. Pattaya Beach Road will be closed that day, and traffic on connecting roads (and - expected - in most of Pattaya) will be severely hampered. So come to the Mera Mare Hotel early.

  1. bona says up

I've done some asking around here and there, but I can't get any further than some vague assumptions.
Does anyone have any idea regarding eg where we would be best placed, what is actually going to happen, what time start and finish or, in fact, any concrete info?
Thank you very much and hopefully a worthy memorial.
