NMT is currently assessing the interest in a possible follow-up to the recent trade mission in Thailand. That could well be participation in the Navy exhibition '4th Ship Technology for the Next Decade', which will be organized from 15-17 November 2017 in Pattaya by the Royal Thai Navy of Thailand.

Various Navy's present

In addition to the Navy from Thailand, the Navies from the following countries will also be present: France, USA, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Myanmar, Laos, Brunei, Vietnam and Cambodia.

On the last day of the trade mission to Thailand, on May 4, 2017, a very constructive B2B meeting was set up where the Dutch participants had three hours of one-on-one talks with the shipyards from Thailand, the Royal Thai Navy (RTN), Port Authority Thailand (PAT) and TSBA (Thai Shipbuilding & Repairing Association). Trade Promotion Manager of NMT, Marjan Lacet, had a long talk with Commander Sarawut of the Royal Thai Navy.

The TSBA and the well-known Thai shipyards: Marsun, Asimar, Unithai Shipyard, ItalThai Marine and SeaCreast will participate in this exhibition.

Are you interested in this fair?

NMT would like to see whether there is sufficient enthusiasm to participate in this fair with a group of Dutch companies, perhaps in the form of a Holland Pavilion.

We would like to hear if you are interested in participating in the Navy exhibition '4th Ship Technology for the Next Decade'.

You can pass this on to Marjan Lacet, Trade Promotion Manager at NMT via E-mail: [email protected] or T 088 44 51 022.

If there is sufficient interest, you will soon be informed of all relevant information.
