Agenda: Bikerboys Hua Hin – Exploring the most beautiful spots of Chumpon under the guidance of Lung Addie
Lung Addie alias Eddie de Cooman is a Fleming who has been living in Pathiu on the coast of Chumphon for some time now. According to him, Chumphon is the most beautiful and greenest province in Thailand. He is an avid (motor) biker and regularly writes travel reports in Thailand blog under the title “Living as a farang in the jungle-on the road“.
Together with a number of us, we experienced a number of bike tours under his guidance in 2015 and 2016, a 2-day exploration of the pristine coastal region of Chumphon and a 3-day loop through the mountainous area of Chumphon to Ranong on the Andaman Sea and back. Eddie has discovered a new destination: a day with the fishermen on a remote fishing island. He has published an article about this in Thailandblog of March 3rd. The intention is to explore this fishing island and to (re)discover the southern coastal region of Chumphon. Together with a few cars we drive to Chumphon and rent the motorbikes on site. Since the tours by motorbike are not long, this tour is certainly also suitable for accompanying wives/partners.
Program from Hua Hin (2 days in the month of May 2017)
Day 1 (car 270 km, bike approx. 100 km)
- 07.00 AM by car from Hua Hin to Chumphon – 3 ½ hour drive – approx. 270 km. Participants are divided into 2 or 3 cars.
- 11.00am – Rent bikes (125-150 cc) on arrival in Chumphon and departure. Exploration of the southern coastal strip of Chumphon by bike. Lunch at local restaurant.
- 17.30 pm – Check in hotel
- 19.00:XNUMX PM – Collective dinner at a restaurant in the center of Chumphon.
Day 2 (bike about 100 km, car 270 km)
- 08.00 – Departure by bike to Grab Khrong, departure point of the fishing boat to the island of Koh Tiab.
- 10.00 a.m. – Check in Koh Tiab. Walk around the islet.
- 12.00 noon – Extensive seafood lunch in the fishing village. Trip by boat to Koh Phra, the 2nd fishing island. Possibility to swim and snorkel in crystal clear water.
- 16.00:XNUMX PM – Boat trip back to Pak Khrong.
- 17.30:XNUMX PM – Arrive at Chumphon. Departure by car to Hua Hin.
- 21.00:XNUMX PM – Arrive in Hua Hin.
