20 years of Green Wood Travel
It was on a beautiful December day in 1992 that Ernst-Otto Smit opened his own travel desk in the Green Valley Resort on Phuket where he was manager at the time: Green Valley, Green Wood and also Ernst-Otto's favorite color so it became Green Wood Travel.
A few months later, the first major account came in and Ernst and Add moved to Bangkok. Soon the room became the Rex hotels too small on Sukhumvit and a larger space was found in the Bangkok Palace hotel through a combined retail/residential building. The hard work, the extensive experience and the new approach turned out to be successful because over the years more and more office rooms and staff were added to the Bangkok Palace.

Ten years ago, the Prince Palace hotel became home and it still is. Many customers of Green Wood Travel come back every year because the range of hotels and tours is constantly expanded and renewed and the personal service and flexibility are highly appreciated. 20 years is a great excuse for a party and the customers of Green Wood Travel are of course invited to that.
