Home » Background » Video: 13 LOST – The Untold Story of the Thai Cave Rescue
This impressive documentary tells the story of rescuers who tried to rescue so-called cave boys from the football team The Wild Boars who were trapped in Thailand's Tham Luang cave.
When everyone else had more or less given up, two divers never lost hope. This is their story.
Subtitles are in Chinese, Thai, French, Dutch, German, English and exclusive footage recorded during the rescue of the boys.

Very impressive story.
Good that this is also shown; credit where credit is due. Others who take the credit, purely out of selfishness, I have experienced it myself very closely.
In fact, yesterday it was 2 years ago that I had a serious work or traffic accident, after which my (former) employer did everything it could to get out of it as best as possible on my back. He himself created a labor dispute and in the end I signed for dismissal in a hopeless position…I plead for the truth. Honesty is the best policy and matters 'that cannot bear the light of day' (literally in this report) should be included.
Cheers to the real heroes!!!
great documentary! thanks for posting!
What an impressive story.
I have heard of this Belgian from Phuket at the time. But always thought the British were the driving force. Now I hear the truth for the first time.
Does anyone have a link to their diving school's website?
I got my diving license in 2016. I am definitely not a cave diver, and seeing this also makes me think I don't have the courage to do this.
Much respect to these people.
Jan Willem
I can put you in touch with Ben directly. Send me your email address and I'll pass it on to him
I have plans to go on holiday to Phuket next year.
My wife would like that very much. Then I would like to dive myself.
A link to my diving holiday in Koh Samui last year.

Keep in mind that Ben usually only deals with technical diving. For padi diving he will refer to the colleagues. Then you better look at his website. There you will find enough information
But you can also approach him directly via Facebook. Under the name of BEN REYMENANTS
Great report so you can learn how it really went. A big round of applause for these heroes, very nice to see and hear the heroes busy for an hour during this difficult time of staying indoors as much as possible.
So is the medical staff and nursing and everyone else who now has to work overtime to fight the corona virus, thank you all in advance.
Very impressive! Unbelievable what these men have achieved. Truly true heroes.
But as so often, there are always enough candidates who also want to bask in the light of the real heroes and whether or not they put their own contribution in the foreground.
That is unfortunately the reality with all those egos, but all those involved can be proud of their contribution to this incredible rescue operation.
Can the movie be downloaded?
Wants to show it to a disabled diver
I think you might need to ask this question to someone savvy with the internet. And otherwise contact Ben himself about this
As always, YT is your friend: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qGC7vWTLVE8&t=12s
