It had to happen sometime, we're going to talk about sex. No, not necessarily in connection with the willing ladies here in Thailand, although they do play an important role for quite a few of the pensioners who live here. We are talking about personal experiences with sex, especially of the elderly.

In that article both positive and less positive experiences of people, men, women and couples about their sex life in later life. The names of the people who speak have been changed for privacy reasons and I think that is logical, because it is about a subject that you do not easily talk about with others. If that happens at all, especially by men in the pub, then it seems that we are still very sexually active at a later age, but that is not entirely the reality.
I would like to know what the sexual life of our blog readers looks like. Are you older then my question is: are you still doing “it”?, with your own (Thai) wife?, how often? Do you use aids (Viagra) or porn movies? Mind you, I'm not talking about sensational stories about how well you still perform in the bedroom, but our experiences may give others ideas. Thoughts of doing something about their possible sex problems or sitting back satisfied with their current situation with sex later in life.

I'm 70 years old and wouldn't get hot or cold from a Western woman at that age, although sex isn't that important to me anymore, because an orgasm is almost gone, and if this happens once in a while, my young lord looks more like an old powder extinguisher. Since my colon cancer surgery and my Chemo's in 2013 my sex needs have dropped considerably.

I'm in pretty much the same situation. Also had cancer, conquered after several chemotherapy and well, the sexual wanted and sometimes does not want to go so smoothly. Had conversations with sexologists, internists, urologists and oncologists galore .... but nature / the physical cannot be forced.
In addition, my girlfriend / illegitimate wife is 30 years younger > I am now 64, and I have been seeing her for more than 10 years, so she needs more intimacy than I do now.
