Travel industry organization ANVR and its affiliated travel entrepreneurs answer numerous questions these days from holidaymakers who want to know more about Corona and their booked trip. That is why the ANVR has made a YouTube video with answers, tips and advice.

Many potential holidaymakers wonder whether they can still go on holiday, whether they can book their May and summer holidays or perhaps they should wait a little longer, what measures they should take or what they should pay attention to when booking a holiday?

The YouTube video provides answers to frequently asked questions from travelers. But you will also find Corona information on www.anvr.nl and www.wijsopreis.nl.

Frank Oostdam, director of ANVR: “The answer to the question of whether you can go on holiday now, I can answer with a resounding 'yes'. We now see that people are reluctant, but there is actually no reason to do so.” In addition to tips from the ANVR, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs also provides travel advice. Travel advice differs per country and even per region. Fortunately, the virus cannot yet be found in many destinations. But it is important that the holidaymaker books his package holiday with a reliable partner.

It's just what you still like and what risk you want to take.
My son and daughter-in-law missed their trip to Japan because:
    1. Cancellations of too much where we wanted to go in Japan,
    2. Avoiding the risk of forced confinement in a room of say 2 by 2 m2,
    3. don't feel like walking around paranoid yourself between paranoid Japanese with face masks.
    4. Reducing the risk of being quarantined in view of the risk of contamination in the aircraft, respectively. to light others on their return.
    5. Risk of change of situation at the time of return journey, both in Japan and in NL.

    We are in Thailand .
The only thing we notice is that we hear through BVN that it is better not to go to Brabant.

We inquired with a travel agency because we wanted to do a cruise, if you cannot be present, for example because there are no trains or something else, no refund! so not booked, moved to a later date or next year… (someone has to be on the boat with corona and…) the travel agency even agreed with us and said that these were the busiest months for bookings, but in 14 days we were the … second who booked something (summer holiday) and many who canceled … so let's wait and see.
