An investigation has been launched into the construction of a luxury resort on Khao Kho (Phetchabun). Both military personnel and supervisors of nature parks worked together and it was decided to call a halt to the work.

Lt Col Kiart-Udom Nadee, leader of the military, is investigating illegal construction in the areas of Khao Pang Ko and Wang Chomphu, which comprise large national forests.

The ban of the Khao Kho municipality was ignored and construction had already started. The investigation team found that the contractor and more than 30 construction workers were hurriedly building a total of three four-story buildings. It turned out that objections to the construction of these three buildings had already been lodged in 2016, but the prosecutor of the Lom Sak District had not initiated any further prosecution due to insufficient evidence.

Somni Nut-art, who was in charge of the construction and was also a contractor, had explained “no prosecution” that he could continue building without any problems. The owner of the land, who also participated in the investments of the buildings, was also of this opinion.

Somnit Nut-art, who admitted that he was the person in charge of the construction and was also the contractor, claimed that after the prosecutor's order was issued without prosecution, he thought there would be no further trouble. Therefore, he proceeded with the construction, confirming that the land still belonged to the same owner who also participated in the investment.

However, the Royal Forest Department must grant permission for land use and construction and there will be a further investigation into the permits. Somnit admitted that no permission had been sought or permits issued to begin construction. The officer in charge informed him that construction had to be halted and no further legal action would then be taken.

It is and remains incomprehensible that the most "important" shareholders can no longer be prosecuted in this matter.
Now I'm curious about what needs to be "slide"...
And when the thing can still be realized.

In Pattaya on the Bali-Hai Pier, a fairly short break has also had to be taken….!!

    Long live the fun……..

    Well,

Two possibilities; with a lot of fanfare a ruin has once again been created for many years, or if the "calm" has returned and a considerable amount has been shoved under the table, it will still be phased out.

    This is Thailand

But I have to say, there is more and more control over everything.
The hunting party with the black panther and now building in a National park.
But about a Hilton hotel or the motorcycle / car race track in Buriram, both built in a protected area and told with great fanfare that it must be demolished, you no longer hear anything.

    Greetings Gerrit
