Directional signs along the way

Whoever is on the road sometimes comes across new clues, which are initially unknown or unclear to a layman.

For example, blue signs with a couple and a child appear at various places along the road. At first one might think of a pedestrian path, which points people to something. But in these places there are no footpaths, not even cycle paths, but a two-lane road for all vehicles, so pay attention. However, further information showed that these were indication signs to visit a Wat or another famous place, for example. Why then a cozy couple with a child depicted? Below that the Thai text and below that rather small the meaning in English. However, some translations are incorrect.

Another spot involved blue and red colored parking spaces. The blue marked parking spaces are generally known as reserved spaces for disabled people. At Lotus on the Sukhumvit Road, many Thai people don't care much about that! That often happens when there is no control! A red colored parking space is intended for women. Very sympathetic that a section is reserved for women who have difficulty parking! Unfortunately, this interpretation on my part was incorrect. It is a parking lot for pregnant women.

Then the question is whether this also applies to the passengers or only to the driver and from which month. Nice for a quiz question!

Pink parking space is intended for women in general. Just look at the location, close to the toilets so you don't have to walk far in the dark. For pregnant women and those with a baby and pram, there is a blue box with the indication of a pram. You also see pink in parking garages where that area is intended for cars with only women in it, to give them a safe6 feeling.
