Two South Korean seniors drowned in the Nan River (Phitsanulok) on Tuesday after a golf cart accident.

They ended up in the water after the golf cart they were in was hit by another golf cart carrying their wives on a jetty of the river that runs through the golf course. The two men waited for that moment to cross the river.

The bodies were found 2,5 and 10 kilometers from the golf course and taken to the Buddhachinnaraj hospital in the provincial capital.

The governor of Phitsanulok says local authorities are looking for measures to increase safety along waterways in the province.
