Koh Lipe is considered by many to be the most beautiful island in Thailand. It is the southernmost island and is located about 60 kilometers off the coast of Satun Province in the Andaman Sea.

The island is part of the Adang-Rawi archipelago. This archipelago, together with the Tarutao archipelago, forms the Koh Tarutao National Park. Of the Adang-Rawi archipelago, only the island of Koh Lipe is inhabited. It is a popular tourist destination thanks to its beautiful beaches, good snorkeling and diving sites, beautiful sunrises and sunsets and a pleasant mild climate.

Pattaya Beach is the main beach on Koh Lipe. It is a large sheltered bay with soft powdery sand, crystal clear blue water. You can snorkel well from the beach.
